YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM

Collegiate Program

YEP targets vulnerable youth who possess leadership skills but lack the opportunity to develop it in a positive way. This collegiate program connects secondary schools with the local university to create a mentorship and develop leadership skills to address concerns in the community. In addition to mentorship, YEP members undergo personal and professional development to best support their mentees. YEP chapters are required to create and execute at least one community engagement project on campus each semester.
